What We Do


PLMS are able to provide a wide range of services for Clients within the construction sector.

Our primary roles tend to fall into one of two categories viz:

Project Management

We are happy to pick-up a project at any point during its life-cycle (although the earlier the better).

We are comfortable with all aspects of project co-ordination, cost control, programming, management and the like.

Quasi Building Contractor

We provide a full building contractor service but everyone works for the Client.

A typical project would be as follows;

Client approaches PLMS with a job.
PLMS do an assessment and produce a Cost Plan and Appraisal.
Client appoints PLMS.
PLMS plan the job.
PLMS co-ordinate design.
PLMS manage Health & Safety
PLMS manage all strategic matters.
PLMS provide programming of the job.
PLMS provide all labour, plant, materials and sub-contractors for the job.
PLMS provide monthly project reports and cost up-dates.
PLMS provide full management of the work.
PLMS manage quality
PLMS administer all aspects of the contract.
Client has full control over the works.
Client can change things without having a grumpy contractor to contend with.
Client doesn't have any nasty (financial) surprises at the end of the project.
Client can control the rate of site progress.
Suppliers and subcontractors prefer working direct for Clients as it is perceived as being more secure than working for builders.
